If Comtesse du Barry duck leg confit is so soft and melting in the mouth, it is thanks to the long hours of gentle cooking of the Label Rouge Sud-Ouest duck from which it is made. Rich in meat, this confit is prepared with the noble pieces of duck, checked one by one and seasoned with Guérande salt.
Place the duck confit skin side down in a frying pan, brown it lightly and then heat it over a low heat, covered, for 5 to 7 minutes, turning it over from time to time.
It can be eaten with our mashed potatoes with ceps, a pan of green beans or cooked lentils.
