Champagne Perrier Jouet Blason Rosé 75cl

Champagne Perrier Jouet Blason Rosé 75cl

75 cl
Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé is a well-balanced wine, particularly structured, which allows it to accomplish surprising pairings. "With a barbecued prime rib, this characterful champagne will live up to the occasion," says Séverine Frerson. Other delicious accompaniments can be considered, for example with a duck breast with a blackberry sauce.

History:
Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé is inspired by the prestigious Blason de France cuvée, created in 1955 and served in gourmet restaurants. This wine was designed to be enjoyed during the meal thanks to its complex and generous flavors, contrary to the common belief that rosé champagne is reserved for dessert.

Color: a beautiful salmon color with coppery reflections, it imposes itself with a certain presence

Nose: it releases intense aromas of citrus fruits (pink grapefruit and blood orange) and ripe fruits (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry), completed by exotic touches of passion fruit

Palate: Rich and lively in the mouth, it offers a full and generous finish

Terroir:
To make Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé, Séverine Frerson selects wines from about twenty different crus. The blending is precisely designed to give this cuvée the power necessary for the realization of numerous matches, while preserving the delicacy of the Perrier-Jouët style. The floral notes of the Chardonnay from Chouilly, Avize or Oger in the Côte des Blancs are balanced with the fullness of the Meunier from Dizy, Damery and Vincelles in the Marne Valley. The Pinot Noir of the Montagne de Reims (Verzy and Verzenay in the north, and Ambonnay in the south) offer strength and structure to the wine, two ideal qualities to perfect the pairing. Pinot Noir is characterized by its red skin and white juice. Among the wines made from this grape variety and used in the elaboration of this cuvée, only a small proportion (10 to 15%) are red wines obtained by maceration of the grapes. This is what gives this champagne its beautiful salmon-pink color and its coppery reflections.
