Description
This block of duck Foie Gras, with its assertive character and creamy texture, comes from a farm of ducks in the South West of France. Meticulously prepared according to the famous Comtesse du Barry recipe, with just the right amount of salt and pepper, it's perfect as an aperitif with a sweet white wine like Sainte Croix du Mont Derenoncourt. It's also ideal with foie gras.
Know-how :
Meticulously selected, then trimmed and seasoned by hand, our foies gras are all cooked without added colouring or preservatives to preserve their flavours intact.
Each stage in the making of our foies gras is carried out with patience, thanks to the handing down of traditional know-how, with the founders' wish in mind: to make the best foie gras in the world. From start to finish, our chefs are guided by a love of cooking and a passion for the land.

Tasting advice :
Place the block of duck foie gras in the fridge the day before serving. Take it out only 15 minutes before serving. Slice or spread at the last minute, as our products contain no colouring agents or preservatives and will brown superficially on contact with air, but without altering the taste.
Recommended quantity per person: 35/50 g.
Serve with fresh fruit, dried or smoked duck breast to make small aperitif tapas.
Blocks of foie gras are particularly suitable for preparing foie gras-based recipes: sauces, crème brûlée, stuffing.
