Don Papa is a molasses-based rum from the Philippines, distilled and aged for at least 7 years in bourbon casks. Gourmet and highly aromatic, it takes its name from Dionisio Magbuelas, an emblematic figure of the 19th century Philippine revolution, nicknamed Papa Isio. Both a foreman on a sugar plantation and a healer, Papa Isio became one of the leaders of the Philippine revolt in 1896. Don Papa 7 ans is made by fermenting molasses rich in sugar, which is then distilled in column stills. The rum is then aged on the island of Negros, at the foot of the Kanlaon volcano, in old bourbon casks. Voted Best New Product of the Year 2013 at the Cocktail Spirits Awards, this is a very fruity, vanilla-flavoured rum with lovely pastry notes.

Enjoy it chilled or simply "on the rocks". With its smooth texture and fruity, vanilla flavours, it goes perfectly with cocktails.
