Honey from France harvested exclusively in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region
Creamy, light-coloured and easily soluble, it has a slightly melting texture. It has a light fragrance and vegetal notes, with a sweet, fruity taste.
Its delicate flavour makes it an excellent table honey. Easy to spread, it won't run.
Tips for use and preparation :
A pure, natural product par excellence, honey has been used since ancient times and is still considered a truly sacred food.
It is commonly referred to as "the food of gods and heroes".
Ideal for a convivial brunch :
With hot drinks, pancakes, waffles or dairy products.
Accompanied by fresh fruit and eggs.
With sweet or savoury dishes :
For duck, prawn or foie gras dishes.
Did you know ?
Fresh honey is always liquid. It crystallises after a very variable time depending on its glucose or fructose content.
Legally we have to put a best-before date on honey, but it is one of the rare foods that does not expire.
