Domaine de Pellehaut - Harmonie de Gascogne rouge IGP Côtes de Gascogne
Click & Collect
"Pellehaut takes its name from the Roman or medieval pila. The presence of mosaics depicting vines two kilometres away, on the site of the Gallo-Roman villa at Séviac, suggests that vines were already present at Pellehaut in Roman times... Today, the estate covers 550 hectares, 250 of which are planted with vines. It is a farm run in the traditional way by two brothers, Martin and Mathieu BERAUT.
Light red colour with hints of violet. The nose is expressive with aeration, softly marked by fruit and spices.
On the palate, a delicious wine guided by a subtle, well-integrated tannic structure.
The fruit expresses itself, black berries and blackberries accompanied by peppery aromas. A concentrated, naturally balanced vintage that will blossom as the year progresses.
Local grape varieties (Merlot, Tannat, Cabernat, Malbec), Syrah, Pinot Noir.
