Conservation Tips

We advise you to: * store your products in a cool, dry location. * Never open a box having a leak or bulging but return the defective product to Gimont. It will be replaced or refunded, without other costs. * Keep refrigerated semi-preserved (semi-cooked foie gras, caviar, salmon ...) or fragile products (cured) you consume within the time specified on the package. Foie gras and half-cooked blocks have a shelf life of six months after the date of shipment. Careful reading of labels you will provide valuable information and advice for the preparation or presentation of our specialties.

Geographical coverage :

Offers are available for all purchases made online, without geographical restrictions, unless otherwise specified. Some products are not available for shipping outside of the Metropolitan France, in particular, but in a non-exclusive manner, the products must be in compliance with a cold chain (example: semi-reserved). Liquors are not shipped outside of Metropolitan France.

Price of goods :

All prices are indicated in euros all taxes included. The shipping and handling will be charged extra (see Article IV of these Terms: Participation in the shipping and handling). The amount of these charges will be shown before checkout. COUNTESS DU BARRY reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, provided that the items will be charged at the rate in force at the time of validation of the order by the customer.

Payment of the full price must be made when ordering. We reserve the right of ownership of our products until receipt of full payment.

II. Items availability

All products on the website are available and our offers are offered based on availability. In case of unavailability of a product after placing your order, we will inform you by email or by phone within 24 hours (working days). You can then request the cancellation of your order or exchange with the missing item or items.

III. Validation of your order

IV. Shipping and handling fees

Shipping in France

The payment contribution varies based on the type of shipping chosen:
·    Colissimo Suivi: the fee is of 7,90 €, orders over 100 € are shipped free of charge.
·    Chronopost: the fee is of 18,90 €, orders over 100 € have 11€ fees.


Shipping Abroad

The fees are calculated as lump sums per 10 kg.
The maximum weight covered by this lump sum of 10 kg.

    Fresh produce (foie gras mi-cuit, caviar, smoked salmon, dried or smoked duck breast ...) are delivered in France by express carrier, and delivered against signature.

    They are not sent abroad.

    Products packaged under vacuum are not shipped to Canada and the United States. It is essentially references sausages, sausages and mini sausages.

    Foie gras and recipes foie gras are not delivered in California, as the wine.

    V. Payment Terms

    The products are supplied at the rates applicable on the site at the time of the order.

    VI. Processing time of your order and delivery

    For all shipments within France :

    Orders are shipped within 24 to 48 hours after their online validation.
    Orders validated on Fridays are shipped on Monday.
    Orders validated on Saturday and Sunday is shipped on Tuesday.

    After shipping by our Logistic Service, your order is delivered within :
    ·    48 to 72 hours by Collisimo Suivi or transporter (Timeframe not guaranteed).
    ·    24 hours by Chronopost

    These time frames are applicable for working days, without any postal issues and based on items availability.

    These times are for working days, excluding postal delivery problem and availability of products.

    ccordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the delivery will take place at the latest within thirty days after the confirmation of the order.     Comtesse du Barry shall not be held liable for irregular delivery times or longer than expected. The deadlines expected are those indicated. These indications are given for information purposes only and have no form of contract.

    VII. Fees and taxes, customs

    A - VAT
