St-Germain Liqueur is a creation made from fresh elderflowers hand-picked in Europe. The elderflower is present throughout and not only plays the leading role, but also enhances a whole host of aromas and flavours that provide amazing contrasts to this bewitching liqueur.

St Germain was conceived in 2007 by third generation distiller Rob Cooper with the help of some of the best mixologists and producers of traditional French liqueurs. Produced from fresh wild elderflowers, hand-picked in the spring from the mountainsides of Europe, it pays homage to the spirit of 1920s Paris. Versatile and elegant, St-Germain has become an essential for the world's best bartenders.

Nose: Fine, elegant. Particularly fruity (mango, passion), it evolves on citrus fruits (pink grapefruit), spearmint and lime blossom. Then, the main actress enters the scene: elderflower accompanied by red fruits (blueberry, wild strawberry).

Palate : Deliciously smooth. This time, the elderflower takes centre stage. Citrus (lemon) and exotic fruits (pineapple, lychee) are in the background. Each flavour has become more syrupy. It continues with notes of juicy orange.

Finish : Long, reminiscent of other liqueurs (vine peach, crème de cassis). Then, heady flowers (peony, lavender) precede notes of hazelnut, coconut milk and passion fruit. Intense, the empty glass is a subtle blend of white fruits (peach, pear) and dairy products (yoghurt with exotic fruits).
