Sauternes - Carmes de Rieussec 75 cl
Description
Hailing from the Sauternes appellation, located south of Bordeaux on renowned sandy-clay gravel soils, the 2018 Carmes de Rieussec benefits from ideal conditions thanks to the natural humidity provided by the Ciron River, which fosters the ideal and necessary conditions
for the development of Botrytis cinerea, also known as noble rot.
This vintage, marked by a late harvest and rigorous selection, particularly highlights the Sauvignon and results in a refined and balanced wine.
