Sardines with Green Pepper and Kumquat. With this original creation from La Belle-Iloise, let yourself be transported to the heart of a sunny garden, where orange fruits fill the air with their fragrance. The kumquat, nicknamed the ‘golden orange’, reveals its tangy freshness and pairs perfectly with the lively flavour of green pepper. The whole dish is enhanced by a light and fruity grape seed oil, adding a touch of exoticism that brings out the full iodine-rich flavour of our sardines.
Caught at peak maturity and in season near Quiberon, our sardines are processed fresh, by hand, within 24 hours of their arrival. Carefully selected, brined, trimmed, then cooked and delicately canned, they are carefully aligned and presented in white, a guarantee of superior quality.
Our sardines can be enjoyed in a thousand ways: on toast, in salads, in pies, or as an accompaniment to potatoes, rice or pasta. Their firm, melt-in-the-mouth texture makes them an exceptional delicacy, symbolising passion and expertise.
