Pitomaïl Sardines : A creation with Provençal flavours, both authentic and full of character!
The balanced aromas of this recipe give it a beautiful intense colour, typical of the South. Inspired by a personal recipe by Georges Hilliet, the creator of the Conserverie, this spicy version of sardines with tomato was initially reserved for his friends and family. Encouraged by his friends, he added it to the catalogue in the 1960s, and Pitomaïl quickly became a best-seller for La Belle-Iloise.
A simple, tasty and timeless recipe, to be enjoyed hot or cold, on toast, in a salad or in a cooked dish.

Ingredients
Sardines (70%), peanut oil (10.6%), extra virgin olive oil, tomato concentrate (7.8%), water, salt, chopped garlic (0.9%), spirit vinegar, sweet chilli pepper (0.08%), guar flour, flavouring. Sardines in oil, Pitomaïl sauce.
