Whole foie gras is made from a single piece of foie gras, and is the highest quality of the different types of foies gras. What's more, it is guaranteed preservative-free and is prepared by hand, using Guérande salt and pepper.

Comtesse du Barry sources its blocks and whole goose foies gras exclusively from South West France.

Serving suggestions :

Place the goose foie gras in the fridge the day before serving. Take it out only 15 minutes before serving. Slice it at the last minute, as our products contain no colouring agents or preservatives and will brown superficially on contact with air, but without altering the taste.

As a starter: Serve with a salad dressed with a light vinaigrette made with a little balsamic vinegar and walnut or hazelnut oil. Add diced gingerbread and fresh figs cut into stars.

As an aperitif: Serve on gingerbread toast with mango chutney or onion confit.
