Our whole foie gras are guaranteed not to contain any preservatives (nitrite salt) and are prepared by hand, simply with Guérande salt and pepper.

Place the foie gras in the refrigerator the day before. Take care to remove it only 15 minutes before eating. Slice it at the last moment because our products are free of coloring agents and preservatives and would brown superficially in contact with the air but without altering the taste.

The whole foie gras is one of the regulated appellations of foie gras: it is composed of a whole foie gras or several whole lobes. It is the most qualitative of the different types of foie gras.


Fig chutney, 27g :
Fig chutney is the perfect accompaniment to foie gras, to which it adds a real touch of sweetness and fruity flavors to enhance the foie gras aromas.

The purple figs are chosen when perfectly ripe and are prepared according to tradition, cooked with wine vinegar in copper cauldrons, in small quantities, always focusing on the quality of our products.

As an appetizer: Serve on toast or country bread with fig chutney. 

 

As an appetizer: Slice 90g of foie gras into fine shavings. Peel 2 pears and cut them lengthwise. 

Spread salad leaves seasoned with oil and balsamic vinegar. Arrange the foie gras shavings and the pear pieces. Add a few dabs of fig chutney and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. 

Accompany the foie gras with a glass of champagne as an aperitif or a glass of sweet wine as a starter.
