This block of duck Foie Gras, with its assertive character and creamy texture, comes from a duck farm in the South-West. Meticulously prepared according to the famous Comtesse du Barry recipe, with just the right amount of salt and pepper, it can be enjoyed as an aperitif with a sweet white wine like Sainte Croix du Mont Derenoncourt. It is also ideal for preparations with foie gras.

Tasting advice

Place the block of duck foie gras in the refrigerator the day before tasting. Take care to take it out only 15 minutes before tasting. Slice or spread it at the last moment because our products are free of coloring and preservatives and will brown superficially in contact with air but without altering the taste.

Recommended quantity per person: 35/50 g

Accompany with refreshed fruits, dried or smoked duck breast to make small aperitif tapas.
