Present naturally under the Pyrenees for millions of years, the Salies-de-Béarn salt is protected in depth in waters ten times saltier than sea water.
It is obtained by simple evaporation of these underground waters according to an ancient method: in a salt pan. This authentic and traditional production method gives this 100% natural salt, exceptionally rich in trace elements, incomparable taste qualities.
It has been used for centuries on the tables of southwestern France.
